Quality

The quality management system of B1P Group S.r.l. is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The quality policy, reviewed every year by management, translates into five commitments.

  1. Planned and controlled processes. Every project follows a defined process: kick-off meeting, modelling planning, review, verification and validation of the models before delivery.
  2. Client needs at the centre. We gather the requirements of clients and interested parties at the start of the work and measure their satisfaction every year.
  3. Risks and opportunities assessed. We analyse the risks and opportunities of each process and reassess them at least once a year.
  4. Trained and engaged people. Ongoing staff training and clear responsibilities for every role.
  5. Measurable improvement. Quantitative objectives set every year in the management review and tracked with indicators.

We operate in compliance with the applicable regulations, in particular on data protection and health and safety at work.

Use of artificial intelligence

We use generative artificial intelligence to analyse documents, prepare drafts and reports and automate checks on models. Technical judgement and responsibility for the work remain with people. Our commitments:

  1. Authorised tools only. We use tools approved by the company and listed in an internal register. The general-purpose tool is Gemini in Google Workspace with an Enterprise licence: the contract excludes the use of our data to train the models, and the data is stored in the European Union.
  2. A person always checks. No output produced with AI is sent to third parties or used for a decision without being checked by a qualified engineer, who is accountable for it.
  3. Data and confidentiality. AI only accesses documents that are already accessible to the person using it. We do not enter health data or other special categories of personal data; documents covered by confidentiality agreements follow written rules and, where necessary, names are omitted.
  4. We tell the client. In our offers we state which AI systems we use and for which activities, as required by Law 132/2025.
  5. Training and review. Staff are trained in the use of AI, as required by the AI Act. The data protection impact assessment is reviewed every year, or sooner if tools or regulations change.

The full policy on the use of AI is available on request to clients and suppliers. For the AI services we offer to clients, see AI for BIM.
