NQA, an internationally accredited certification body, and the Collegio Provinciale dei Geometri e Geometri Laureati di Roma (the Rome provincial association of building surveyors) announce a partnership to deliver a complete BIM training programme for the association's members.
The course, structured in theoretical and practical modules, aims to give surveyors the skills they need to work successfully in the world of building information modelling (BIM), a working method that is revolutionising the construction sector.
“We are delighted with this collaboration between NQA and the Collegio dei Geometri di Roma”, said Matteo Proia, CEO of B1P Group. “As trainers on this programme, we keep stressing that BIM is a key element for the future of the construction sector, and we are confident that this initiative will help surveyors seize the opportunities this technology offers.”
The course will cover every aspect of BIM, from 3D modelling to project information management, including collaboration between the different parties involved in the construction process. Participants will also have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice through hands-on exercises and real case studies.
“BIM is a fundamental technology for the digitalisation of the construction sector”, said Giusi Cannata, Managing Director of NQA Italia. “This course is an important opportunity for the association's members to acquire the skills they need to compete in the job market of the future.”
