Pisa, Order of Engineers of Pisa, BIM & Project Management Basic Course
Duration: 33 hours
Professional training credits (CFP): 32
Trainers: Matteo Proia, Giordano Zappa, Matteo Badalocchi
The course is aimed at those who want to learn the principles, tools, methods and techniques needed to organise and run projects, according to the objectives of “time, cost and quality”: self-employed professionals, public administration officials and staff, business owners, project managers, company executives, designers, building services engineers, site managers and all those responsible for defining detailed project plans and using them for management, who wish to explore BIM and project management in detail. It is an essential course for those who currently manage 2D design and want to move to managing parametric 3D BIM design, gaining a thorough knowledge of the methods, tools and all the processes needed for effective management, according to their own discipline (infrastructure, structures, building services, environment). The Pisa BIM Basic Course aims to provide a complete overview of the fundamental project management processes and techniques, with practical examples that will teach participants how to manage all the planning, control and reporting phases of projects. The second aim of the course is to provide the tools and knowledge to manage the BIM cultural revolution in the transition from traditional design to parametric 3D BIM design as effectively as possible.
