EXPO 2020 in Dubai begins in 714 days.

The international design competition for the Italy Pavilion at EXPO 2020 has been launched.

The Pavilion will stand in a strategic position, between the United Arab Emirates Pavilion, always a regular stop for every visitor, and the North Park, one of the main green spaces in the whole exhibition area.

The central concept of the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2020 will be “Beauty connects people”: beauty as a means of connection between people, but also as an expression of creative genius and cultural wealth. Without forgetting innovation and digital technology, in line with the Expo 2020 theme “Connecting minds, creating the future”. The whole Pavilion is to be a great showcase for Italy's innovative and creative potential, above all in the eyes of the countries of the Me.Na.Sa area (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia), regarded as a region rich in opportunities for the Italian economy.

The deadline for submitting entries is 17/12/2018 at 14:00

All the competition rules published by Invitalia are available at this link
